 	Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) Internet standards are mostly used to introduce the topics. The concepts are used to demonstrate the best practice implementations of the technology that have been documented by experts over time.
   * **Practical Hands-on Application**	The practical hands-on session uses training equipment of routers and switches to simulate an ISP and IXP network environment. Internet Society has a mobile training kit that consists of 15 Routers, 2 switches and Access Points.
-	The training is designed for a minimum of 14 and maximum of 28 participants per workshop to fully benefit from the training and gain hands-on training experience. The lab design groups the workshops participants into several ISPs creating a real life experience. This setup enables them to understand and troubleshoot some of the common problems faced in such scenarios.		The workshop utilizes a progressive teaching methodology that builds from the basic concepts to technical implementation. As a result the training will enable participants to;		1. Transition their network from statically routed network to dynamic fast converging network;	2. Setup, troubleshoot and maintain multiple external network interconnections including to the IXP	3. Provide technical support to the IXP operations		At the end of the workshop the facilitators will create a mailing list for all participants and the instructors to facilitate continued discussions and support as they implement what they have learned during the course of the workshop.
